"Ég kem frá Íslandi, sem er lítil dularfull og drungaleg eyja í norðri, þar er langur listi af þjóðlegum hefðum og fólk vitnar oft í til hinna þriggja máttarstólpa sem hefur mótað Íslensku þjóðina:  Landslagið, Hið kraftmikla tungumál og gömlu Íslendingasögurnar. Verk mín eru innblásin af Íslenskri sögu og menningu, náttúrunni og áhuga mínum á heimspeki".

Mýrmann hlaut menntun sína á Íslandi, hjá Odd Nerdrum í Noregi og er með Meistaragráðu frá UCA, einum af virtustu og leiðandi hönnunar og listaháskólum Í Englandi. Hann hefur tekið þátt í fjölmörgum samsýningum og haldið yfir tuttugu einkasýningar. Verk hans finnast í einkasöfnum um allan heim.

"I come from Iceland, a small mystical and gloomy Island in the North. there is a long list of cultural traditions and folk traditionally make references to three major elements of the Icelandic nation: The landscape, the rich literature and the old sagas. My work is driven by Icelandic culture, the nature and by my interest in human psychology".

Mýrmann holds a master degree from UCA, one of Britains leading design and art school. he has participated in various group exhibitions and held over twenty single shows, His work can be found in private collections all over the world.
